About New York 90
New York 90
New York 90 (www.newyork90.com) is a full-service photography company founded in East Hampton, New York to serve the Eastern End of Long Island where photojournalist Craig Macnaughton now makes his year-round home.
Background
Craig's career as a photojournalist began while he was still a student at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at ASU. His work for newspapers in Phoenix, Arizona gives him deep experience in action sports, portraiture, interiors, and scenics. His award-winning images for the big dailies show his early mastery of ambient-only lighting. From a darkened concert arena to a tennis tournament under the desert sun, Craig's past venue challenges inform his present-day shooting style. Often using long exposure times and rarely flashed, Craig "makes light" with the help of the industry's sharpest Nikkor lenses.

Services
Craig brings his 30+ years of professional grade Nikon expertise to New York 90, offering full service real estate and architectural photography for top-selling East End agents and teams. Craig's easy manner and go the extra mile attitude combined with his discerning eye for set design and staging produce industry-leading results for his agents. Craig's next-day delivery of images meets even the most demanding of deadlines and his flat rate pricing includes many standard retouches, reducing back and forth and upcharges. Craig's local experience with world-reknown interior designers nets clients a tailored approach to each property, and a clear sense of the Hamptons' unique aesthetic: these subtle palettes of bleached teak and elegant neutrals juxtaposed with pure white and rich contrast are all faithfully rendered with perennially beach-day skies and puffy white clouds.
Craig's fine art portraits for private clients are shot in a style that he calls Landscape Candid Photography™. Using only available light, Craig works exclusively in what he thinks of as the world’s greatest studio- our East End and North Fork beach communities. He offers year-round destination shoots from Montauk Point to the Shinnecock and beyond to produce one-of-a-kind images for your family portrait album.
Craig's years shooting Major League sports including time as a staff photographer with the NBA's Phoenix Suns uniquely qualifies him to create amazing sports portraits for your private club, sponsored team or student athlete. His telefoto lenses allow him to capture action candidly, yielding unforgettable images; the subject totally immersed in his element.

New York 90 is named for the mileage sign at the outer edge of East Hampton Village. With Town Pond in the rearview mirror, the sign reminds departing drivers of their physical distance to Manhattan. For us, the sign symbolizes our chosen home, and its unspoiled remove from the urban grind of New York City.
Craig Macnaughton lives in Wainscott, New York with his wife Chimene, their Puerto Rican ARF rescue, Mary Mac and their retired racing Grey Casey Bones.
